The History of C.I.A. Salvage
C.I.A. Salvage, Inc. has a long-standing history in the community, originally established in 1970 by Jim Gerry under the name Global Salvage. In the late 1980s, the business changed hands and was purchased by Jim Boris. In 1995, Dennis and Shawn Girard acquired the company and, just a few years later in 1999, rebranded it as C.I.A. Salvage—short for “Cash In Advance.” In 2000, the facility underwent a major expansion to better serve the growing needs of its customers.
Today, C.I.A. Salvage is a full-service operation offering a wide range of services including scrap vehicle and parts sales, metal recycling, demolition services, and trash pickup for surrounding residential and commercial clients.
